Each Snow Fox Gua Sha brush features traditional, real 24K gold-plated Gua Sha needles, pinned by hand in Taiwan, preserving traditional techniques refined over generations.

Scalp Gua Sha focuses on deliberate, targeted stimulation. In traditional practice, brushing was believed to engage meridian pathways associated with tension release.


The reflexology needles create rhythmic activation across the scalp and fascia, stimulating acupressure points and supporting circulation with consistent use. Over time, this helps encourage scalp vitality as part of a long-term care routine.

The full-length, 24K gold-plated reflexology needles are polished with curved tips to provide balanced, consistent pressure to help release scalp tension and encourage relaxation. Within our range, the Premium Wooden Edition offers the deepest, most traditional experience.

TECHNIQUE

Use on clean, dry hair twice daily for 2–5 minutes. Gently brush from the hairline toward the crown and nape, allowing the needles to stimulate the scalp rather than drag through hair.


For thick, wavy or easily knotted/dry hair, apply the Tetrapeptide And Ginseng Hair & Scalp Serum first to detangle and prepare the scalp. Suitable for most hair types; not recommended for use with hair extensions.

How To Use

STEP 1

Brush From Hairline to Nape
Gently slide the needles from the tip of the hairline (above the forehead) toward the back of the head in one smooth motion, stopping at the base of the skull.

Make sure that you feel the Gua Sha needles gently press against scalp with a comfortable pressure. Adjust pressure for comfort.

STEP 2

Repeat & Cover the Scalp
Repeat about 10 passes, covering all areas from hairline to base.
Aim for 5 minutes daily, morning and night.

STEP 3

Extend Down the Neck
For added relief, continue the glide down the neck to ease further tension.
Maintain contact with scalp during hair brushing to activate the massage function.

Will the 24k gold plating fade over time?

Yes. As a mark of authenticity, the 24K gold plating will naturally fade over time, revealing the steel beneath without affecting performance.

Gold is a softer metal, and gradual changes in appearance are expected with consistent use. This does not affect the performance, durability or quality of the brush.

How do I clean and care for this brush?

Gently wipe the cushion and needles with the included chemical-free cleaning cloth or a lightly damp cotton cloth. Avoid polishing cloths that contain chemicals, as these may react with the gold plating.

Do not rinse the brush under running water.

This brush is carved from a single piece of beech timber, shaped and finished by hand rather than assembled from multiple components.

Because each handle must be individually carved, balanced, and finished from one piece of timber, the process is time-intensive and limits how many brushes can be made. This approach prioritises weight, ergonomics and durability, but it also naturally caps total production capacity.

These constraints, combined with careful material selection and traditional methods, define the Premium Wooden Edition and are the reason it is produced in smaller quantities and priced accordingly.
