How To Use

FAQ

How long will it take to get results?

Individual results vary, however, most would start seeing new baby hairs sprout after 3-4 months of daily use. For best results, use the brush to stimulate the scalp while using the Tetrapeptide & Ginseng Hair and Scalp Serum.

Why is there a little hole in the middle of my brush?

It may look strange, but the hole in the brush cushion (not a missing bristle) is a pinhole that allows air to flow through (and allows the rubber to press downwards). If air is trapped inside the brush, it can't maintain elasticity during brushing. The pinhole is made by our artists burning a pin through the rubber by hand and is part of how old traditional handmade brushes are created.

Can I use this brush everyday?

Yes! It’s actually best used daily, as it can really repair and nourish dry strands throughout the day. Pair with the Tetrapeptide & Ginseng Hair and Scalp Serum for best results over time.

Can I use this brush on other parts of my body?

Yes, use the Ridged Top Massager with three shaped-points for lighter fascia tension release; perfect for sore wrists.
For deeper muscle tension relief, use the Deep Tissue Massage Point at the base of the brush for areas like stiff necks and shoulders.
Please do not use it on the face and avoid the eye area at all times.

Can I use this brush on my beard?

Yes, the thicker and shorter bristles on this portable brush work to massage the jaw area without catching on stiffer hairs. Just be sure to keep the brush dry and avoid use anywhere near the eye area.

How do I clean this brush?

Do not rinse under running water. Wipe gently with the included chemical-free cleaning cloth (or a damp cotton facial cloth). Please do not use non-Snow Fox polishing cloths as these contain chemicals that may react with the gold plating. There is also an add-on Gua Sha Brush Cleaning Kit that can help with stray hairs and dirt build up.

Will the needles lose their lustre?

Over time, as with any other gold-plated products, the gold will slowly wear off. Gold is a softer metal; and with daily use it is normal to find some discoloration of the needles. This doesn't affect product use or quality at all, as the needles are blend of steel and 24K gold plating.

Reviews

love the cute shape

"Scalp feels amazing after use, didnt realize I had so much stress and tension around the temples and at the base of my skull! I have quite a few massage type tools and brushes but this beats them all in terms of quality and craft, the plastic ones just dont even come close. Something very luxurious about it, my daughters were worreid I overspent but when they saw it was the smaller one they felt that it was well worth it and even bought one for themselves!!!"

Amanda N. (5/5)

Five minutes I'll actually do

"Wanted something I could do in five minutes that wasn't another bottle. This is physical. My hair has been thinner at the temples for a few years. I'm not saying a brush will grow it back. It does make my scalp feel looked after, which I hadn't felt in a while. Love the quality of the wood too."

Joyce R. (5/5)

Parfaite pour le sac

"Je la mets dans mon sac et je m'en sers au bureau le soir. Forme un peu bizarre au début mais elle tient bien dans la main. Les picots sont doux et le côté arrondi est génial pour la nuque! J'adore."

Colette B. (5/5)

sceptical

"Thought the shape was a gimmick. It isn't. Ridges are a grip, tail is a massager, pins are the brush. Makes sense once you hold it. Quality is excellent."

James P. (5/5)

Worth every penny

"I rarely spend this on a brush. Six weeks later it's not in a drawer and that's my measure. I use it on clean dry hair in the morning and sometimes again if I've got that tight band from staring at a screen. Feels so good. Worth it."

Rosemary E. (5/5)

Feels handmade

"Slight variation in the wood grain, pins set by hand. I like seeing that. Plastic massagers feel disposable after a month. This won't. Beautiful craftsmanship."

Rebecca D. (5/5)

Bought the ghost on purpose

"Didn't want the big one. Wanted something I'd actually pack. This is the one I travel with so it was the right call. Pins are milder than they look from the gold, which I prefer. Looks beautiful in person."

Paula A. (5/5)

different from my shower one

"Had a silicone scalp scrubber for the shower. Different job. This is the dry hair, end of day version. Feels like an actual tool. Quality is excellent."

Yvonne X. (5/5)

Works on my curly hair

"3C, usually I need a pick. This isn't for detangling, it's for the scalp underneath. Slow sections, light pressure, and I can feel the pins. No matting if I'm patient. Quality is beautiful."

Louise H. (5/5)

changed my evenings a bit

"I'm not usually into this stuff. My shoulders were up around my ears by Thursday every week. I do about ten slow passes on dry hair, then use the tail from the base of my skull down the side of my neck. Takes less time than scrolling. After three weeks my scalp feels less tight and I sleep a bit easier. Not promising thicker hair and I won't pretend. I can speak to tension. This is the one thing in my evening I actually keep doing. Love it."
